A Tendency to Overreact:
Now as all games of this type you have the
standard unit noises, you have your Yes Sirs and Over and Outs, but the troops
also tell you when they are under attack. However, like Z, they overreact just a tad, you
could have say 10 tanks and 40 troops in a group and they get attacked by one rocket
trooper, what do they say, yup, they scream out load WERE UNDER HEAVY FIRE.
With that mild annoyance out the way you
find that you then have to return to the problem when you realize with great swiftness
that OUR BASE IS UNDER ATTACK which is explained to you in a very urgent way.
While Z had the advantage of humour, this doesnt have it, so the voices get on your
nerves fast. The other sounds are fine enough with beefy sounding guns and explosions
(which are WAY over the top) the music is of the boring kind, makes you wonder if they
ever played Total or C&C.
