Accelerator needed, NAHHHHH:
Now although this game does look nice and
with an accelerator it looks smudgy (some say this is nicer) it does not need one,
software is just as functional. Now the game is 3D, the view can be rotated or zoomed to
one of three sizes, the engine reminds me of Myth: the Fallen Lords (not to be confused
with that much bought ,cough, err, game?) like Myth though the troops are 2D bitmaps, and
the units, while functional, are hardly detailed.
The terrain is the games biggest
strongpoint, it is big, hilly and has a decent amount of extra touches, such as trees and
buildings and such like. Unfortunately you get alot of break up or tearing so you can see
right through objects at times, and it has a great tendency to kill the effect. Another
good point though is that its very clear which are yours and what isnt as the
look of each sides structures and units is vastly different.
