Improvements ahead:
Now pre-patch this game was good, but the
enemy was a little lifeless, one famous trick was to shoot one outside of his weapon range
and all he would do is stand there until killed. Another stupid thing is if you would kill
one guard, his comrade who was standing next to him would just remain still, not moving to
try and save his friends life, a bit dumb really. When in the Mech you would have another
error concerning tanks, where they wouldnt shoot at you unless you were in front of
them, or with the trigger happy spiders which would shoot at you but not chase after you.
This is before the patch however and now these dont count anymore.

Now an enemy will shoot you if you shoot
him, his teammate will join in too, even if he didnt see you. Tanks arent so
weary of obstacles anymore and the spiders arent glued to the ground anymore. Some
other improvements include some guys running off for help and others charging at you if
you are weak. Gameplay wise this game has the best single player experience bar one other
game (you know which), it is a little easy but it has made me want to play through it 4
times, another help factor is that there are two endings, one Mech, one on-foot. The
on-foot sections are my favorite as I prefer a real environment to stomping around in
giant Mechs, yet others prefer the Mech bits due to the awesome powers of the
weapons. Whichever one you prefer, the fact that it has both makes the game almost
non-linear and therefor, different.
