What was that??:
Sound wise, this game is excellent, it
actually makes you jump sometimes thaks to the sound. The best example of this is a level
which has you crawling around in a sewer system to find the rebel base, all the time you
are down there, you keep hearing all these sounds, you know something is there but your
not sure where, and then it usually leaps at you at the next turn. It has the same effect
as the sound does in Half-life and you really cant expect to live long in this game
if you dont use it but then again, who actually turns the sound off in a game.
Another good sound use is that of the weapons, they sound pretty much right, the pistol
and the machine gun are the most satisfying though.

A cool feature they have is the noise you
get when you shoot armoured troopers with projectile weapons. Now it might have been in
other games but ive never noticed it as well as in this, it really makes those poor
bullet weapons sound useless, which is good because they are next to useless against
armoured targets. The sound is a wonderful atmosphere enhancer especially when it is used
as effectively as it is here. Nothing bad here then, even the speech is good.
