Thank god, he screams:
The Sounds are good, lots of decent,
fitting sounds, I especially like
the bone snapping sound that follows some of
the deaths. You have the usual hup sounds when jumping and the wooo sounds when stumbling
and so on. All are well sampled or well produced and there isnt anything wrong with
them although that kid really gets on your nerves. Another sound effect I have to
mention is the rather cool yet still irratating monster sound, it sounds like a four
year old kid talking and giggling to himself after sucking helium. Oh yeah your going to
be hearing Andy dying alot aswell so you better get used to it.
Jump, dodge, kill, be killed, do it
all again:
Remeber Another world (or Out of this World
depending on where your
from) well this game is exactly the same type
of thing, you have one screen which has a puzzle, you complete it and move on to the next
screen which is a continuation of before with a different puzzle. Each segment is usually
around 4 to 5 screens and here lies the biggest problem, if you get to screen 5 and then
die, you go back to screen one and have to do it all over again. This is a major pain in
the arse and ever so dated. Thats why this is a major irritation to play, no one likes
having to repeat themselves but in this game you do it constantly. Now comes the game
killer, this game is stupidly easy if you show a bit of patience, it took me only 5 hours
of play to beat this, that isnt good, and definatly not what you would expect after
a 5 year development time. This is down right infuriating but it isnt a waste of
time, the fact that I stayed with it long enough to finish it shows that it does have a
grabbing element to it, but its to damn short. When you finally finish it you are
treated to a so-called 3D ending, the one where you have to wear those stupid glasses, but
it didnt work with mine, maybe they were broken.
