It Should Be Dune 2 Clone Really:
To the younger group of game players in
this world the first RTS Game was Command & Conquer, but the real players know better.
Dune 2 was the first RTS game and bloody good it was too. No other game was 
played as much on my
trusty (ahem) Amiga, I loved it. In fact if it wasn’t for this game we might never
have had C&C seeing as Westwood made both. Just after Red Alert went out, Westwood
Updated the Red Alert engine for an Unknown project, I actually believe it was originally
intended for Tiberium Sun but when they saw Total Annihilation, they changed their mind.
So then they had this Improved engine and wondered what to do with it, then some clever
person said “hey, why not remake Dune 2”, “Hurrah” screamed Westwood
and off they went. Finally it is here, but not without the typical Westwood delay syndrome
(first release date was end of April) question is, was it worth the wait.
