Yes sir, three bags full sir: All the unit sounds you would expect are
here and they are different for all four sides. The Scorps have a insect type sound,
Mercs have a robitic tone of voice and the Darken sound weird enough, Humans sound
like Humans of course. So while the units sounds are fine the building sound and building
ready sound are the two most War, never been so tame: Gameplay wise this game falls into two parties, some hate it outright and some just arent to found of it. Single player its boring, the missions are very samey and not too intelligent, laid out like a group of amature levels. And the sides are laid out just like
Warcraft 2 with only a graphical difference seperating them (and two units with
slight modifications but are still the same thing). Although when it comes to the unit
problem it worked in Warcraft and it actually does work in this too. The big problem is
the code, it seems not finished, as soon as the Multiplayer is fun enough despite the slow down and is set out well enough to allow a decent game but more than 4 players with different types of computers is too slow. It is actually a shame because I like the units in the game, what with mechs and tanks and troops and it has enough good ideas to speed it along but it isnt enough to keep it alive really. Oh yeah and the A.I. Promise is bull, your units are as dumb as ever, same with the stupid computer. |
