A WHAT!, a 486, whats that:
O.k Admiral - Sea Battles is a Turn based Strategy game based on the naval conflicts
between Pirates and the Navy of some where. In this task you build Ports, Outpost’s,
Fortresses and a fair few types of boats and proceed to rid the world of the Pirate scum.
And yes, it runs on a 486, very well actually and after you have seen the game you’ll
understand why.
I thought this was the 90’s:
Graphically this game is, err well, "ugly". Lots of pretty badly drawn sprites
litter the ocean with lots more little badly drawn buildings on badly drawn islands. So
don’t be expecting graphical splendor by any means. There might be a few of you that
say this is because it’s turn based, and they don’t need to look nice. Well in
answer to that i say, Battle Isle 3, Incubation, Heroes of Might and Magic 3, all of them
looked better than this and all of them are turn based. All it takes is a little bit of
effort but it doesn’t look like they put any in, lets hope the gameplay is better.
