Outlaw Racers is a real-time 3D first person point of view car racing game for one or more players. Along with driver seat experience, it involves an essential amount of strategy. The key element of the game is to find an appropriate balance between fast and safe driving to immediate destinations and successful completion of longer term strategic goals.

All along the way you must make decisions as to which route to choose, whether or not to risk outlaw driving (and if so how much), how and when to upgrade/maintain your race car, etc. The races take place in modern urban and suburban environment, which include driving in city streets as well as highway/freeway between the cities. At the beginning of every level ou receive a map and start as one of 4-8 racing cars participating in the competitive race.

The map represents the racing area, which, depending on the level you've reached, may be on the order of a few miles to tens or hundreds of miles. You receive cash for every checkpoint reached, for completion of the level, and if you are one of the first three cars to finish the level.

You spend your cash on repairs, paying traffic tickets for violations, upgrades to your car, and advanced services. The topology and geometry of the levels is randomly generated, so the game has unique environments to drive through. Combined with different weather, lighting, exteriors of the cities and nature, and dynamically changing traffic conditions the game allows to play unrepeatable and unlimited scenarios.
