Cooler Masters DP5-5021-B1X

When we revieved the Cooler Master DP5-5021-B1X last week could I instantly see that this was probably a really good heatsink. The design is superb and I started testing this sample straight off.

The design

As I have already said so is the design superb and if you are looking for a heatsink that is nice to look at then you should get this one :). But the most of us is looking for a heatsink that can take care of our heatproblems and that is the most important part in the testing.
The heatsink clip is a standard metal clip, which is quite easy to install and fixed the heatsink firmly to the CPU.

The fan

The fan is not exactly the most silent fan available but it is still not the most noisy fan either. It goes somewhere like the rest of the fans. The balltype bearing is Delta and this works pretty fine.
The fan came with a three wire connector (for rpm-to motherboard feature) that didn´t fit my old computer but it fit perfectly with the test machine. I would really have liked an adapter with the fan so that i could have used the fan with the older computer but you can also buy the fan with a standard PS pass-through (two wires) connector.
