incorporates unique resolution-quadrupling, scaling, and filtering technologies to provide

The advantages of DynamicXtended Resolution technology:
- Flicker-Free Picture
Dxr2 eliminates the flicker and blurry horizontal lines of regular TV pictures caused by
the 30 frames-per-secondinterlaced TV signal. By intelligently combining two adjacent
interlaced fields into one and in the process, doubling the resolution and frame rate,
Dxr2 gives you a full 60 frames-per-second, smooth, and flicker-free picture.
- No More Combing Effects
“Combing effects” are annoying artifacts that become most obvious around objects
moving quickly across the screen in some conventional ”line-doubled” video.
Combing adds obscure horizontal effects to these objects that are moving quickly across
the screen. Dxr2 intelligently detects and cuts out these jagged lines before they can
distort the picture. It’s when the picture contains fast motion that Dxr2
demonstrates its true mettle - delivering a super-clean picture completely free of jagged
or “combed” lines.
- Dynamically Zoom in any direction up to 1280x1024!
Many conventional zooming techniques use line replication which introduces unevenness and
“jaggies”. It is especially annoying when you zoom to disproportionate sizes.
When Dxr2 zooms in on a picture, it totally recomputes every pixel in the whole picture,
and then performs a unique filtering to smoothen and sharpen the image at the new
resolution. You can widen or narrow the screen to any size up to 1280x1024 in a window on
your PC without the jagged edges or uneven artifacts of zooming.
