Based on Intel's 440LX chipset, the
LX6 is uniquely designed for file servers, workstations and high-end professional users.
It includes all of the required specifications for PC97 such as Ultra DMA/33 IDE interface
and ACPI power management functions as well as 133 MHz AGP spec. Four 168-pin DIMM sockets
support Synchronous and EDO DRAM. The LX6 also implements Soft MenuTM, leading
technology that eliminates all jumpers on the mainboard that set CPU parameters allowing
end-users to easily and correctly install or upgrade their own Pentium® II
processor with MMXTM.
