ErgoScan 17c-TCO'92 is Tandberg Display's low radiation monitor for PC and MAC users who have the need for a high quality display for text and graphics. To reduce the problem of tired eyes and fatigue, the digital multiscan feature automatically corrects picture distortion and adjusts it without problems to most computers. Together with any good graphics card, this monitor will provide a sharp image over the whole screen, without any flickering. ErgoScan 17c has an ultrafine dot pitch for clear display of pictures and fine text. For the benefit of saving the environment as well as the electricity cost, ErgoScan 17c is equipped with power management circuitry conforming to the VESA DPMS standard as well as the TCO requirements. When the display is not in use, the power consumption is reduced to less than 8W. To ensure users that they are working with state-of-art products when it comes to safety and work environment, ErgoScan 17c is certified after the strictest international requirements for low-frequency electric- and magnetic fields; MPR II and TCO'92.

All screen adjustments are easily performed with the microprocessor-based on-screen-display and digital push-buttons on the front panel. The display shows parameter values using bar graphs and numbers, allowing for precise adjustments. The on-screen menu support five languages: English, German, French, Spanish or Italian. To adjust the screen to match the office illumination, you can adjust Red, Green and Blue signals separately, in addition to the two preset colour temperatures (6550K/9300K). This enables you to bring the screen colour closer to that of your printer and thus better control of the result. To facilitate connection and set-up, ErgoScan 17c is compatible with VESA DDC 1/2B standards, which provides Windows 95 Plug and Play functionality. All plastic parts are clearly identified by type of materials used in order to facilitate recycling. During manufacture, no CFCs or other environmentally harmful substances are used.
