Installing the AHA-2920 host adapter and SCSI devices is quick and easy under all popular operating systems.

Under Windows 95, users simply insert the host adapter in the PCI slot and turn on the PC. The AHA-2920 host adapter automatically configures itself under the PCI bus protocol and adjusts its termina-tion, eliminating the need to handle jumpers and termination resistors. Adding SCSI devices is as simple as plug and play.

Installation in DOS and Windows® environments is also easy. Adaptec EZ-SCSI software determines what SCSI devices are present and auto-matically loads the necessary drivers and modifies system configuration files.

A wealth of convenient SCSI applications

Adaptec EZ-SCSI software provides a full suite of 32-bit applications and tools that increase the control and productivity of SCSI peripherals.

Users can make quick and easy tape backups with Adaptec Backup and master CDs from the desktop with CD Writer. QuickScan lets users scan and print photos or images and save them in a choice of file formats. Users can also monitor their SCSI configuration, shut down drives not in use, and fine-tune peripheral performance. All these unctions and more are immediately accessible through Adaptec EZ-SCSI software’s simple desktop controls.
