Speech Mike^tm features

The Mike features 7 programable buttons, 3 standard left right mouse buttons, a trackball, holder to hang the Mike on the wall, a built in mikerophone and a built in speaker. It also has a very ergonomic design. The Mike is fully soundblaster and MS-Mouse compatible. I compared the microphone on the Mike with my Creative microphone and the microphone on the Mike gave a better, clearer recording. The built in speaker is actually also very good, for it's size :). The sound is very clear, perfect for Netmeeting. But it's no speaker that you use to listen to mp3s on.

What can you use the Mike for?

One program where the mike were just perfect was in Microsoft Netmeeting. Also if you record a lot of voice mail and so on the mike is just perfect. For you that surf alot it is also very good. I also tried the Mike in some games and it was actually pretty good. Specially in Toatal Annihilation where I programmed in the most used short-commands such as Alt+D for the D-Gun and so on. But in games like quake you should use a standard mouse. So overall it is a pretty usable trackball.
