ATI Rage Fury 8MB (Xpert 99)
ATI

Performance:

I also tested the card in Quake 2 to see how it actually performs in games.
These tests where done on a
computer equipped with:

Intel Celeron 333 Mhz
EFA Discovery Motherboard
128Mb PC100 SDRAM
Intel IBM Deskstar5 UDMA 4.3 GB Harddrive
Windows 98
DirectX 6.1

Quake 2 16-bit Color 32-bit Color
Crusher (640*480) 20,3 FPS 12,3 FPS
Demo2  (640*480) 41,4 FPS 34,5 FPS
Crusher (800*600) 19,8 FPS 12,1 FPS
Demo2  (800*600) 41,1 FPS 21,5 FPS

Conclusion:

The OEM version of the board costs approximately 69$ which is a pretty good price for a board like this. The fact that the board also can decode DVD-movies will save you some money if you are thinking of bying a DVD-player. Then you don't have to buy a seperate DVD-decoder card. My opinion is that the board performs very well for a 8MB board. If you are a true gamer this is not the card for you. But if you aren't a big gamer and just looking for a cheap fast allround card this card definitely suits you.
