ABIT BH6 Motherboard
Abit
Design:
When it comes to design the BH6 is very
good, the memory banks are easy to access even in a smaller chassis. The same goes for the
IDE and Floppy connectors, they are all placed to the front of the motherboard in front of
the memory slots.

The BH6 also features a full 2/5/1
(ISA/PCI/AGP) setup which should leave you with plenty of PCI slots. Of course the
trade-off is that you have less ISA slots but since ISA cards are being replaced with PCI
cards nowadays (heck, even internal modems use the PCI slot) this should be of no real
concern. The one thing I can think of that is bad with the design is the location of the
ATX power-connector. By putting it behind the CPU slot as ABIT has done you gotto stretch
the power cable over the CPU, and by doing this you might interfere with the airflow from
the CPU fan. The size of the BH6 is also very compact (considerably smaller than the older
BX6) so it should fit nicely in to all ATX cases.
