Hercules 3D Prophet DDR DVI
- 03/08/00

Conclusion

Is the 3D Prophet DDR DVI worth the money then. Well if you have a monster computer with one of the latest processors and you have a 19”+ monitor then you can notice the extra performance that you get in games compared to a much cheaper graphic card.

This is probably the best graphic card for the home user (with a lot of money) right now and the other test that I have seen of this card says the same thing. But the big question is still if it’s worth the high price and my oppinion is that if you really need that extra performance now or if you have alot of money you should get this card. If you want to make a better deal should you wait untill Voodoo 4 and Voodoo 5 are released as then the prices will probably drop and then we can really see how good this card is.

I will give this card a score of 94% as it kicks the Voodoo 3 3000 and the TNT 2 bigtime on a normal gaming computer. I haven’t had a chance to test it on a high performance system ( P3 700+ MHz ) but the performance will only be better in a computer with such a processor as the processor speed limits the GeForce in most computers.

94%
